I got involved with Street Cones about 5 years ago in Barlinnie prison, through meeting Hugh Young. I had been through the revolving door of prison and the justice system so many times before.

Street Cones gave me an outlet to be creative while sending a message that we can be free from the past.

The drama groups, the music, writing...just getting stuff out helped tremendously, going into prisons was a great feeling when I knew I was sending some hope to people that there is a way out.
