

Positive Lines
Positive Lines will offer members of our community support through fishing and creating tackle on certain days.
We are looking for people who aren't already being supported or not engaging with other service providers.
Challenges people may be dealing with include mental health, addiction, bereavement, loneliness or people may be on a road to changing their life to a more positive purpose.

Or you may just love fishing.
​
Meetings will take place every 2 weeks unless agreed in advance for every week.
The first meetings will take place in Helensburgh and Lomond, Dunoon and Gourock areas.
We are only able to support 12 participants at any one time.

When and Where?
Positive Lines will be shore fishing in Dunoon from 24th May and in Clynder from 31st May
and every fortnight after on a Tuesday from 2pm to 6pm

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

If you're on your own, or feel alone, if you're struggling, if you're worried and stressed come fishing and share the space.
​
We haven't got all the answers however it can really help to be around others and to enjoy the fresh air, learn to fish and chat.
